Question: Miami beach real estate?

I want to buy a condo in South beach for when me and my hubby are empty nesters. What is easiest to rent - studio, 1 bed or 2 bed?

Rent, or buy? To rent, check Craigslist or contact local Realtors that do rentals. If buying, there are plenty of condos available in South Beach, though I believe they are over-priced, and lenders seem to be shunning the area because the amount of speculation there was off the charts, and foreclosures are everywhere. Besides, wait 'til after hurricane season and see what's still standing.

Buy or rent? I agree with the previous poster, the area is hurting, but also because there are more condo's going up as well. Depending on what your looking to do, I have a few contacts in the area that could assist you, best of luck
